MoonGear.com is an online multi-media production company owned by William "Michael" Love. We specialize in professional dynamic web based solutions for small to medium sized businesses.
A Brief History Since 1982, Michael has worked with various types of modern advancements in technology to educate himself. From computers, phones, to programming software, he has found ways to improve upon, or create, the leading innovations of today.
In 1997, wanting to apply his extensive experience in technology, Michael formed Moongear.com. Sitting down at his computer one evening, he envisioned creating a webpage that allowed for visitors to search the world wide web without having to leave his site. This was the era in which the most popular search engines of the time generated a list of search results only on their site. Users were required to leave the website they were currently on in order to search the web. Within a short time, Michael succeeded in creating a dynamic and customizable application for displaying search results on his own website.
After launching his application on the web, hundreds from around the world inquired as to how he had done it and began to offer his application on their sites. It was at this point, in the early stages of his company’s development, that Michael realized that there was a need for web-based software world wide, and geared his company towards that very pursuit.
Over the next few years and into the turn of the century, Moongear.com worked on projects nationally, as well as globally. In the early 2000’s Michael was contacted by Zend Technologies, Ltd. (The developers of the PHP scripting language) to consult with them on some changes he had made to their script, before the release of their then new product, PHP5. As a result of the various design elements and services Moongear.com had to offer, ZDTV, formerly known as TechTV, contacted him to do a featured spot. After the show aired, Moongear.com saw a significant increase in inquires for design and software development. Industry leaders and progressive business owners began to realize the advantages to having fully functional web sites.
Today, Moongear.com has a vested interest in over 100 internet properties, and provides a wide range of services to its clients. Michael uses his wit and instinctual creativity to take ideas and turn them into efficient, unique, user friendly results through programming, consultations, multimedia development, and web design.
